Zusammenfassung

Herzerkrankungen sind die dritthäufigste mütterliche Todesursache während der Schwangerschaft. Zum einen können schwangerschaftsbedingte Herzerkrankungen als schwerwiegende Komplikationen der Schwangerschaft auftreten, zum anderen kann eine vorbestehende Herzerkrankung den Schwangerschaftsverlauf beeinflussen und zu einer Bedrohung für Mutter und Kind führen. Schwangerschaft und peripartale Phase gehen mit signifikanten zir-kulatorischen Veränderungen einher, die bei vorbestehender Herzerkrankung eine akute Dekompensation induzieren können. Die genaue Kenntnis der zugrundeliegenden hämodynamischen Auswirkungen der Herzerkrankung ist somit Voraussetzung für die adäquate Betreuung und Therapie in der Schwangerschaft. Das intensivmedizinische Management ist dabei insofern erschwert, da sowohl diagnostische und therapeutische Maßnahmen nur begrenzt eingesetzt werden können.

Die Arbeit beschreibt therapeutische Möglichkeiten bei Vitien, Kardiomyopathien und Myokardinfarkt während der Schwangerschaft.
