Abstract

Wilkinson Eyre have achieved an impressive record in creating buildings which help to regenerate run-down industrial areas. They have made the magical bridge over the Tyne to bring new life to Gateshead and produced schemes like Magna that respond to their physical and cultural contexts to tell the story of past wonders. The work has proved popular and has clearly helped to energise local economies. One of the latest of such projects to be completed is the National Waterfront Museum at Swansea’s South Dock.
