Zusammenfassung

Die Ammonshornsklerose (AHS), eine Folge von Neuronenverlust mit reaktiver Gliose und Atrophie der Hippocampusformation, steht in enger kausaler Beziehung zur Temporallappenepilepsie, deren Ursachen allerdings im einzelnen kaum bekannt sind (Gates und Cruz-Rodriguez 1990). Ziel dieser Studie war es zu prüfen, inwieweit die AHS durch Magnet-Resonanz-Tomographie (MRT) erfaßt werden kann.
