Abstract

A present status of microscopic four-body calculations are reviewed. Results for 4He obtained with realistic interactions by coupled-cluster, ATMS, variational Monte-Carlo, hyperspherical harmonics and other methods are summarized and compared. On the basis of a realistic 4He wave function the density-distribution and momentum-distribution functions are derived and discussed in relation to the short-range correlation in the nucleus. Those functions are available in both coordinate and momentum spaces.
