Abstract

In this chapter problems of load modelling for cyclic and variable repeated loading are discussed. Then, the general problem of time-invariant shakedown and limit reliability analysis in the load space is formulated. Also, the time-variant limit reliability analysis approach is shown. For load cases with low variance of maximum values, simplified formulations of the shakedown and limit reliability analysis methods are presented. Advantages of the presented methods are discussed in the conclusions.
