Shakedown of Thin-Walled Structures with Geometrical Non-Linear Effects

  • Chapter
Inelastic Behaviour of Structures under Variable Repeated Loads

Part of the book series: International Centre for Mechanical Sciences ((CISM,volume 432))

Abstract

The aim of this lecture is to show, how the general theory, as presented in the first lecture, can be applied to structural elements. Here, we concentrate on thin-walled shells and plates, taking certain geometrical effects into account that may occur during the loading history.
