Zusammenfassung

Die International Processes Simulation (IPS) enthält wie die Inter—Nation Simulation (INS) theoretische Inseln, die aus der Literatur über inter — und intranationale Beziehungen entnommen sind. Man nimmt zum Beispiel an, daß nationale Merkmale, etwa die Regierungsform, internationale Phänomene — wie die Struktur von Bündnissen — beeinflussen und daß diese wiederum, zum Beispiel das „Machtgleichgewicht“. auf ähnliche Weise Einfluß auf nationale Merkmale, etwa die nationale Sicherheit, ausüben (Guetzkow et al. 1963, S. 126).
