Zusammenfassung

Die hohe Hüftluxation (Typ IV nach Crowe) als schwerster Ausprägungsgrad der Dysplasie ist durch eine Reihe anatomischer Anomalien gegenüber der Normalsituation gekennzeichnet. Dennoch ist es das Ziel der endoprothetischen Versorgung, die Implantation der Pfannenkomponente im originären azetabulären Rotationszentrum durchzuführen. Femoral ist aufgrund des dislozierten, meist verlängerten Femurs eine simultane femorale Verkürzungsosteotomie zur Prävention neurovaskulärer Folgeschäden notwendig.
