Zusammenfassung

Die arthroskopische Behandlung des femoroazetabulären Impingements (FAI) ist technisch anspruchsvoll. Der Arthroskopeur muss sowohl mit der Behandlung der kausalen Pathologie (Wiederherstellung der physiologischen Kopf-Hals-Rundung beim Cam-FAI und Pfannenrandtrimmung beim Pincer-FAI) als auch mit der Therapie der Kollateralschäden (Synovektomie, Kapselrelease, Entfernung von Ossifikationen, Knorpeltherapie, Labrumrefixation etc.) vertraut sein. Der vorliegende Beitrag liefert eine Übersicht über die Prinzipien, Indikationen und Kontraindikationen, präoperative Planung, Ergebnisse und mögliche Komplikationen der arthroskopischen Therapie des FAI. Die arthroskopische Operationstechnik wird im Detail beschrieben.
