Zusammenfassung

Handeln folgt nicht allein sachlogischen Argumenten, sondern einer „Psycho-Logik“. Dies bedeutet, dass die Interaktion eines Menschen mit seiner Umwelt aus dem Zusammenspiel von Kognition, Motivation und Emotion zu erklären ist. Dieses Kapitel befasst sich eingehend mit menschlichem Handeln und seinen Bedingungen. Als Aspekte der Handlungsregulation werden grundlegende Motivationen (z. B. Kompetenzschutz), Emotionen, Gedächtnis und Wissen, Denken und Lernen anwendungsnah erläutert. Ferner beschäftigt sich das Kapitel mit „prospektivem Gedächtnis“ und Metakognition/Selbstreflexion.
