Zusammenfassung
Die menschliche Motorik ist planmäßig mit dem Nervensystem als Leitschema organisiert. Sensorische Reize aus der Umgebung können automatische Reflexmotorik hervorrufen, ohne oder mit nur geringem, aber unbewusstem Einfluss des Bewusstseins.
Andererseits können sensorische Reize den „Geist“ des Menschen veranlassen, spontane und zielgerichtete Motorik zu erzeugen.
Die vielfältigen Mechanismen motorischer Kontrolle führen zu einer breiten Skala an motorischen Fertigkeiten, wobei unbewusste und bewusste Steuerungsprozesse auf komplexe Weise ineinandergreifen. So entsteht einerseits spektakuläre, aber zu jeder Zeit raffinierte Motorik.
