Zusammenfassung

Es gibt eine Vielzahl vegetarischer Ernährungsformen, zwischen denen bei der Bewertung ihrer Tauglichkeit als Naturheilverfahren genau unterschieden werden muss. Eine Reihe wissenschaftlicher Studien zeigt, dass der Lakto-Ovo-Vegetarismus und Veganismus als Dauerkostform sowie für die Prävention und Therapie verschiedener Krankheiten geeignet ist. Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird dargestellt, wie die verschiedenen Varianten vegetarischer Ernährungsformen in der Praxis erfolgreich durchgeführt werden können.
