Zusammenfassung

Die chirurgische Resektion ist die älteste und für solide Tumoren noch immer die wichtigste Behandlungsart. Heute wird etwa die Hälfte aller Patienten mit einem soliden Tumorleiden operiert, und von diesen dürfen nach erfolgreicher vollständiger Tumorentfernung etwa 50–75% mit einer definitiven Heilung rechnen.
