Zusammenfassung
Die Ernährung von Intensivpatienten stellt bis heute immer noch eine Herausforderung dar. Die Frage nach der korrekten Kalkulation des Energiebedarfs wird weiterhin kontrovers diskutiert. Die Frage, wann (früh vs. spät) und wie (enteral vs. parenteral) ein kritisch Kranker ernährt werden soll, ist Gegenstand dieses Kapitels.
