Zusammenfassung

Schutzfaktoren haben eine überragende Bedeutung, weil wir es zum allergrößten Teil selbst in der Hand haben, das Auftreten von Herz- und Gefäßerkrankungen zu vermeiden. Die Gefahr für einen Herzinfarkt liegt zu über 90% (!) in unserem Lebensstil begründet, bei Frauen und Männern, weltweit und in allen Altersklassen. Regelmäßige körperliche Bewegung, gesunde Ernährung mit geringem Alkoholgenuss, ausreichend Entspannung und Nikotinstopp können das Auftreten von Gefäßverkalkungen um über 80% reduzieren.
