Abstract
Having summarized the theories of new urban areas proposed by scholars and experts from home and abroad and combined them with the particular situation in China, this book presents a systematic theory of new urban area development. Although there are many theoretical studies in contemporary China, the subject needs further exploration, for it is far from mature theoretically, comprehensively and practically.
