Abstract

Culture is based on the accumulation of human history, passed down from generation to generation. Living in the continuous course of culture and history, what we should do first and foremost is to preserve and inherit the cultural wealth created by our ancestors. Cities are rich in cultural heritage: Except for a handful of new urban areas planned and built in the desert or on saline-alkali soil, the vast majority of new urban areas, especially those planned and built surrounding large cities, have a number of buildings, structures, or historical legacies of their own in the initial period of planning and construction.
