Zusammenfassung
Auffälligkeiten im Blutbild des Früh- und Neugeborenen sind meist akut bedingt. Blutgruppeninkompatibilitäten und Allo- oder Autoimmunthrombozytopenien sind typische und häufige hämatologische Erkrankungen, die vorübergehen. Konnatale Neutropenien haben meist eine maternale Ursache. Fortbestehende Störungen der Blutbildung müssen zügig abgeklärt werden, da sie oftmals mit einer angeborenen Erkrankung und mit einer erhöhten Morbidität oder Mortalität assoziiert sind. Frühgeborenen und kranken Neugeborenen werden häufig Erythrozyten- oder Thrombozytenkonzentrate transfundiert. Ob restriktive oder liberale Kriterien für die Transfusionsbehandlung angewendet werden, sollte von der Indikation sowie den Transfusions-assoziierten Risiken abhängig gemacht werden.
