Zusammenfassung
Histiozytosen sind Erkrankungen des Monozyten-Makrophagen-Systems. Die Langerhans-Zell-Histiozytose (LCH) umfasst ein extrem heterogenes Spektrum an klinischen Erscheinungen, daher ist eine histologische Diagnosesicherung obligat. Die Ausdehnung der Krankheit bestimmt das therapeutische Vorgehen und wird standardisiert erfasst. Die hämophagozytische Lymphohistiozytose (HLH) ist eine lebensbedrohliche hyperinflammatorische Erkrankung, die durch eine unkontrollierte Proliferation von aktivierten Lymphozyten und Makrophagen gekennzeichnet ist. Die HLH ist eine häufige Manifestation bei Patienten mit genetischen Störungen der Lymphozyten-Zytotoxizität (primäre HLH), sie kann aber auch bei Patienten ohne bekannten genetischen Defekt sekundär im Rahmen von verschiedenen Infektionen, Erkrankungen mit Autoimmunität und Autoinflammation sowie Malignomen auftreten.
