Abstract
This chapter and the ones to follow deal primarily with the applied areas of psychology. On the basis of the discussions in the preceding chapters, we shall attempt to explicate these applied areas in terms of the basic principles of behavior theory. All of the fundamental techniques described can be applied to developmental psychology. The distinguishing characteristic of this area is the use of the variable of age.
