Abstract

Our experience with tumours will be outlined here in the order usually followed by neurosurgeons. In actual fact we could proceed strictly from the neuroradiological point of view by describing the localisation and the angiographic signs which acquaint us with the nature of the tumour. This would not substantially change the traditional manner which permits us to distinguish tumours of the pineal region. A mass expansion in this region can be localised whereas its precise origin remains enigmatic.
