Abstract

As a central service facility, the Administration of the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum is responsible for the central administration as well as for the special administration of the institutes and independent facilities. It prepares decisions of the organs of the Foundation, especially of the Management Board, and implements these decisions. Its work is determined by the manifold individual demands from scientists as well as those based upon the numerous federal and Länder laws and regulations resulting from the legal status and matters of financing. In this “field of tension”, the Administration endeavors to carry out its work rapidly and unbureaucratically with due consideration of the problems involved.
