Abstract
The cerebellar cortex is a convoluted sheet of grey matter consisting of three layers: 1. the outermost molecular layer, 2. the ganglionic or Purkinje cell body layer and 3. the granular layer. This grey matter is twisted around relatively thin lamellae of white matter.
