Zusammenfassung

In der Zukunft wird das aus petrochemischen Quellen stammende Isopren 185 als Basis zur Herstellung aliphatischer Monoterpene an Bedeutung zunehmen. Bereits heute gelingt die direkte Bildung von Myrcen 149 aus Isopren 185 durch eine Na-katalysierte Dimerisationsreaktion [84] [85] in industriellem Maßstab. Der Mechanismus dieser Reaktion [86] ist dem SCHEMA 18 zu entnehmen.
