Die zu den Fernplastiken zählenden freien Hauttransplantate und gestielte Fernlappen sind dann indiziert, wenn aufgrund der Grüe eines Operationsdefekts dieser durch primären Wundverschluß oder eine lokale bzw. regionale Lappenplastik nicht oder nicht optimal zu versorgen ist.
