Unabhängig davon, ob bakterielle Toxine oder andere primär nicht bakterielle Aggressionen Auslöser für eine schließlich generalisierte Entzündungsreaktion des Organismus sind, immer werden die gleichen lebenswichtigen Kaskadensysteme angeregt:

  • das Komplementsystem,

  • das Gerinnungs-Fibrinolyse-System,

  • das Kallikrein-Kinin-System.
