Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel wird die digitale Transformation von HR Shared-Service-Centern (SSC) an Fallbeispielen aus der Praxis großer Unternehmen analysiert. Als theoretischer Bezugsrahmen für diese Analyse dienen die ressourcen- und fähigkeitsorientierten Ansätze, an denen sich die Entwicklungen von SSC nachzeichnen lassen. SSC sind in der Lage, mittels ihrer operativen und dynamischen Fähigkeiten wichtige Wertbeiträge für ihr Unternehmen zu leisten. Ihre Entwicklung kann daher Quelle von Wettbewerbsvorteilen sein, die jedoch nur realisiert werden, wenn einige Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind. In diesem Kapitel werden insbesondere drei Voraussetzungen illustriert und diskutiert: Die Fähigkeiten der Mitarbeiter und des Managements, die Transformationsfähigkeit der SSC sowie ein gewandeltes Rollenverständnis von SSC.
