Zusammenfassung
Daenerys Targaryen ist die Sturmtochter, Mutter der Drachen, Khaleesi des großen Grasmeeres und der Unverbrannten, sowie Sprengerin der Ketten. Die Figur ist aufgebaut um einen Führungsstil, der sich als charismatisch bezeichnen lässt. Daenerys inszeniert sich mit Architekturen, Drachen und ihrem Körper und arbeitet an ihrem Charisma, denn die anderen Formen sozial akzeptierter Anerkennung sind für sie als Abkömmling eines besiegten Königs im Exil nicht gut zu beanspruchen. Sie wird auf Händen getragen, angebetet, respektiert – bis sie am Schluss abhebt und totalitär scheitert.
