Zusammenfassung
Der theoretische Diskurs der deutschen Armutsforschung kreist bislang vorrangig um die Frage, wie Armut begrifflich-konzeptuell zu fassen ist. Rein objektiv, anhand von Ressourcen oder unter Hinzuziehung subjektiver Faktoren (Kapitel 2.1.1)? Die intensive Beschäftigung mit der Frage, was Armut ist und welche Dimensionen und Aspekte ihre Definition beinhalten solle, hat die theoretische Diskussion über die Ursachen der Armut und ihre Entwicklung bisher stark in den Hintergrund gerückt.
