Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel soll die politikdidaktische Sicht auf argumentative Lehr-Lern-Prozesse im Politikunterricht beleuchtet werden. Diese dient als Ausgangspunkt zur Identifikation von Forschungsdesideraten bezüglich mündlicher Argumentation im Unterricht. Die Vorgehensweise ist wie folgt: Zunächst wird der „Beutelsbacher Konsens“ als normativer Prozessstandard zur Gestaltung von Politikunterricht vorgestellt, in Bezug auf unterrichtspraktische Implikationen erörtert und hinsichtlich seines Theoriestatus untersucht (Unterkapitel 3.1).
