Zusammenfassung

Die weltweite Ausdehnung der Kommunikationsnetze, die Zunahme transnationaler Interaktionen und die wachsende Interdependenz der Volkswirtschaften – bezeichnen sie tatsächlich etwas Neues? Und wenn das der Fall ist, haften diesem Sachverhalt überwiegend Nachteile an oder ist auch eine positive Bilanz der Folgen – und wenn ja, unter welchen Umständen – erwartbar? Oder ist die vielzitierte Globalisierung lediglich fiktiver Natur, nur eine von mehreren Optionen auf die Zukunft, vielleicht auch nur eine neue Waffe im Kampf um eine günstige Position im Verteilungskonflikt? Die einen suggerieren neue Spiele mit neuen Regeln, die anderen glauben, drohende Verluste abzuwenden, indem sie die alten Regeln bekräftigen.
