Abstract

This chapter presents the methodology applied in this present study which enabled to get insight into how students solve spatial tasks in spatial discourse. After having presented theoretical background of this present study in Chapter 2, the research questions are introduced in the first section of this Chapter, Section 3.1. From a methodological point of view, this research is characterised by “a methodology which enables it to describe how individuals interpret their actions and the situations in which they act” (Carr & Kemmis, 1986, p. 79).
