Zusammenfassung

Cet article examine la manière dont le roman Moi, l’interdite (2000) d’Ananda Devi représente les différentes définitions du concept d’humanité et le processus de devenir-homme en se positionnant dans les contextes transnationaux de la Coolitude et de la Créolite. L’analyse reprend les réflexions de la philosophe Revault d’Alonnes qui met en cause les qualités distinctives pour désigner un homme (Fragile humanité, 2002). Moi, l’interdite dresse le tableau d’une société intransigeante dont l’ordre symbolique hiérarchique et sévère ôte à l’individu déviant toute humanité en le déshumanisant.
