Abstract
In order to understand the last 60 years of German-Palestinian relations, one must reflect on two periods. The first spans the founding of the state of Israel and the Cold War. The second covers the aftermath of German reunification and the Oslo process. The following article will describe these two periods and also provide an overview of Germany’s activities in the Palestinian Territories today.
