Zusammenfassung
Europa ist in der Plattformökonomie nicht annähernd so erfolgreich wie die USA und China. Während das Rennen im B2C-Bereich vorerst verloren zu sein scheint, steht die digitale Transformation vieler Wirtschaftsbranchen noch am Anfang. Der Beitrag zeigt, dass datengetriebene, disruptive Geschäftsmodelle auf dem Vormarsch sind und etablierte Akteure herausfordern. Europäische Unternehmen sollten den Einstieg in die Plattformökonomie forcieren, um nicht zu Zulieferern von Plattformanbietern degradiert zu werden.
