Zusammenfassung
In dem Beitrag wird von einem Forschungsprojekt berichtet, dessen Ziel es ist, das Konzept der Zielorientierung von Lehrkräften empirisch zu prüfen und für die Erklärung und Optimierung professionellen Handelns zu nutzen. Das Konzept postuliert, dass Lehrkräfte mehr oder weniger stark Lernziele (d. h. das Ziel, durch die Arbeit als Lehrkraft selbst hinzu zu lernen), Annäherungsleistungsziele (d. h. das Ziel, als möglichst kompetent zu erscheinen), Vermeidungsleistungsziele (d. h. den Wunsch, nicht als inkompetente Lehrkraft aufzufallen) sowie Ziele der Arbeitsvermeidung verfolgen. Im Einzelnen wird betrachtet, welche Bedeutung Zielorientierungen für die Kompetenzentwicklung der Lehrkraft , ihr unterrichtliches Handeln und für verschiedene Merkmale auf Schülerebene zukommen und inwiefern Zielorientierungen durch kontextuelle und situationale Hinweisreize beeinflusst werden können.
