Zusammenfassung
Die Employer Branding-Strategie bildet das Fundament des Employer Brandings. Sie legt langfristig fest, welche Zielgruppen schwerpunktmäßig angesprochen werden, welche Ziele zu erreichen sind und wie die Arbeitgebermarke positioniert wird. Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt den Prozess der Strategiefindung und seine Bestandteile dar. Konkret wird empfohlen, eine Priorisierung der Zielgruppen vorzunehmen und, darauf aufbauend, Zielsetzungen für die relevanten Zielgruppen zu definieren. Herzstück des Strategieprozesses ist anschließend die Entwicklung der Arbeitgeberpositionierung. Der Employer Brand Manager muss abwägen, ob die Positionierung stärker an den Wünschen der Zielgruppen (klassisches Positionierungsprofil) oder an den Erwartungen des Unternehmens an seine Mitarbeiter (selektionierendes Positionierungsprofil) ausgerichtet wird. Entsprechend der Stoßrichtung des Positionierungsprofils gilt es wenige, zentrale Arbeitgebereigenschaften auszuwählen und diese zu einer Employer Value Proposition zu verdichten. Dabei ist neben einer Übereinstimmung mit übergeordneten Zielebenen auf eine hohe Glaubwürdigkeit und ausreichende Differenzierung von Branche und Wettbewerb zu achten. Für die Zielgruppen selbst wird die Positionierung erst erlebbar, wenn sie durch Kommunikation an den Kontaktpunkten des Arbeitgeberwahlprozesses umgesetzt wird.
