Zusammenfassung

Wie immer der „Arabische Frühling“ in der Zukunft auch im Detail bewertet werden mag, schon wenige Monate nach den Ereignissen kann man von einer historischen Zäsur sprechen. Der Mut zur Auflehnung gegen die seit Jahrzehnten herrschenden Autokratien im südlichen Mittelmeerraum macht den Arabischen Frühling vergleichbar mit den jüngsten Revolutionen im Osten Europas.
