Zusammenfassung
Experimentell-chirurgische Untersuchungen sprechen dafür, daß Catgut und Chromcatgut durch die neueren synthetischen, absorbierbaren Nahtmateriahen zu ersetzen sind. Die sog. „guten persönlichen Erfahrungen“ blockieren aber nach wie vor den Einsatz neuer Nahtmaterialien, und ähnhches gilt für die verschiedenen Nahttechniken.
