Zusammenfassung

Während die Mehrzahl von Knochentumoren auf einer nativen Röntgenaufnahme gut verwertbare diagnostische Zeichen aufweist, haben die Weichteiltumoren keine ähnlichen, röntgenologisch faßbaren Charakteristika. Um einen eventuell vorhandenen Tumor in den Weichteilen allein mit Hilfe einer Übersichtsaufnahme nachweisen zu können, den Tumor also von den umgebenden Weichteilen zu differenzieren, muß das betreffende Gebilde eine gewisse Größe haben, muß sich von der Nachbarschaft scharf abgrenzen und der Umgebung gegenüber eine Absorptionsdifferenz von ungefähr ± 5% zeigen. So gelingt es z.B., den scharf konturierten, weniger Strahlen absorbierenden Fettumor größerer Lipome auf Nativ-Röntgenaufnahmen nachzuweisen. Auch Phlebolithen in Angiomen oder nach spontaner Thrombose eines Hämangioms innerhalb des Tumors abgelagerter Kalk lassen sich auf nativen Röntgenaufnahmen erkennen (s. Buchwald und Severest in diesem Band).
