Zusammenfassung

Die ausgezeichneten Materialeigenschaften und Offenheitsraten im aortoiliakalen Abschnitt von gestrickten Dacron- oder alternativ von PTFE-Prothesen sind allgemein anerkannt. Wesentliche funktionelle Unterschiede zwischen den verschiedenen Grundmaterialien bestehen nicht. Es gibt allerdings Untersuchungen, die auf ein etwas stärkeres Dilatationsverhalten des gestrickten Dacrons hinweisen [5, 13, 14, 18, 20].
