Abstract
The following subjects will be discussed in this article:
-
The telescoping effect in the case of a juvenile fluid phase encountering a dense phase of peridotite, considered as an inevitable explanation of the genesis of the spilites.
-
The relationship between lamprophyric rocks and spilitic rocks, the former being considered the dike-counterpart of the latter.
-
The process of granitization interpreted as a possible reproduction of the spilitization mechanism on a capillary scale.
