Zusammenfassung

Seit langer Zeit wird vermutet, daß neben den bisher beschriebenen Risikofaktoren wie Hypercholesterinämie, Hypertonie und Zigarrettenrauchen auch psychosoziale Faktoren für die Entwicklung der koronaren Herzerkrankungen eine wichtige Rolle spielen. Bereits 1892 beschrieb W. Osier Koronarpatienten als Personen, die bei der Arbeit ständig an ihrer oberen Leistungsgrenze stehen, und die unermüdlich nach Erfolg streben [38].
