Part of the book series: Springer Series in Solid-State Sciences ((SSSOL,volume 48))

Abstract

We review the scaling-field method, which provides a novel renormalization-group technique for the investigation of critical phenomena in three-dimensional systems. Applications to the Potts, percolation, cubic, random Ising, and isotropic N-vector models demonstrate the versatility of the approach.
