Zusammenfassung
In allen Bindegeweben sind Hyaluronat, Proteoglykane und Kollagen wichtige strukturelle Komponenten der interzellulären Matrix. In der Dermis besteht die Kohlenhydratkomponente der Proteoglykane vorzugsweise aus Chondroitinsulfat und Dermatansulfat. Beide Glykosaminoglykane sind covalent mit Proteinzentralfilamenten verknüpft. Ein aus der Schweinehaut isoliertes Chondroitinsulfat-reiches Proteoglykan [1] ähnelt insofern den genauer untersuchten Proteoglykanen des Knorpels, als es ein Molekül mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 106 Dalton darstellt. Circa 50 Polysaccharidketten und einige neutrale Oligosaccharidseitenketten sind mit dem Proteinzentralfilament verbunden. Im Gegensatz zu Knorpelproteoglykanen ist dieses wie auch die anderen Proteoglykane der Haut jedoch nicht in der Lage, höher-molekulare Aggregate mit Hyaluronsäure zu bilden. Auffällige Eigenschaften weist ein Proteodermatansulfat der Schweinehaut auf. Es hat ein Molekulargewicht von lediglich 70000, enthält nur eine Dermatansulfatseitenkette von einem Molekulargewicht von 25 000 und mehrere Oligosaccharidseitenketten [2].
