Zusammenfassung

Die Ätiologie und Pathogenese kindlicher Infektionssteine (Struvitsteine) ist zu einem großen Teil ungeklärt. Insgesamt sind sie außerordentlich selten, sie machen nur 5–10% aller kindlichen Steine aus und kommen in Frankreich, England, Skandinavien und einem Steingürtel der Vereinigten Staaten ca. 2–3 x häufiger als bei uns und praktisch nie bei schwarzen Kindern vor [1, 2].
