Zusammenfassung

Der Einsatz der Tumeszenzanästhesie erlaubt in der Dermatologie die Durchführung ausgedehnter Eingriffe unter Verwendung geringer Mengen von Lokalanästhetika. Gleichzeitig verringert sich das Risiko narkosebedingter sowie intra- und postoperativer Komplikationen wie Blutung, Hämatombildung und Wundinfektion. Hierbei sind Lokalanästhetika in Konzentrationen von 0,05% bis 0,08% ausreichend. Dermatochirurgische Eingriffe in Tumeszenzanästhesie verlaufen schmerzarm bzw. schmerzfrei, sie sind ambulant durchführbar und leisten darüberhinaus einen nicht unerheblichen Beitrag zur Kostendämpfung.
