Zusammenfassung
Nach lokaler Entfernung eines Rektumkarzinoms entscheidet die pathohistologische Untersuchung über das weitere Vorgehen. Die Ergebnisse hängen zunächst von der Art derMaterialentnahme ab, d.h. von der Beachtung bestimmter Regeln bei der lokalen Entfernung durch den Chirurgen. Des weiteren erfordert eine zuverlässige pathohistologische Untersuchung eines durch endoskopische Polypektomie oder lokale Exzision entfernten Tumors
