Zusammenfassung

TRAPPER® (TRAFFONIC1 Parallel Programming EnviRonmcnt) ist eine graphische Software-Entwicklungsumgcbung für MIMD-Parallelrcchncr. TRAPPER bietet eine durchgängige Unterstützung bei dem Design, der Konfiguration (Mapping), Animation und Optimierung paralleler Applikationen. Ausgangspunkt ist eine graphische Entwurfsmethodik, die zur Spezifikation der parallelen Software-Strukturen eingesetzt wird. Die Entwurfsmethodik basiert auf dem Programmicrmodell der kommunizierenden, sequentiellen Prozesse und ist sprach- und Hardware-unabhängig. In der ersten Ausbaustufe werden transputer-basicrtc Ziclsystcmc (T80x, T9000/C104) sowie die Programmiersprache ”C” unterstützt.
