Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung des Zervixkarzinoms in der Universitäts-Frauenklinik Freiburg 1975–1986 war geprägt von einer guten Zusammenarbeit zwischen Operateuren und gynäkologischen Radiologen, so daß die durchgeführte Therapie sich fachunabhängig nach den Gegebenheiten im Einzelfall richten konnte. Die derzeit bestehende Neigung, auch gut arbeitende gynäkologisch-radiologische Abteilungen aufzulösen, dürfte künftig einen erheblichen Einfluß auf die Therapie des Zervixkarzinoms haben und den Trend zur vorwiegend operativen Therapie weiter verstärken.
